8: Dolls with Glasses

February, 2004

The Premise: Make a doll wearing glasses. They had to be actual eyeglasses (the kind used to correct vision problems), not sunglasses.

7: The Award Contest

January, 2004

The Premise: The idea was to make a pretend award for an imaginary contest that you were pretending to be running - get it?

6: "Solely Socks"

December, 2003

The Premise: Make a doll wearing socks. :)

5: Lord of the Rings Quote Sprites

November, 2003

The Premise: Make a sprite-sized doll of a character from The Lord of the Rings saying an authentic line from the books. Special emphasis on quotes that didn't make it into the movies.

4: The Ladies of Arda

November, 2003

The Premise: Make a doll of a lesser-known female character from any of Tolkien's work. The more obscure, the more authentic, the better! (This was a special contests, with many important awards.)

3: FoS: Sasheylal/"Lady Luck"

November, 2003

The Premise: Make a doll representing Sasheylal, who is more commonly known as "Lady Luck". She's the Eshilés Loyhalé (if you aren't familiar with our world, you can roughly translate that as "goddess") of, well, luck. Reports of her appearance vary, but in art she is always shown either holding a blindfold over her eyes or else covering her eyes with one hand.

2: RED!!! Contest

October, 2003

The Premise: Make a doll featuring the color red, of course!

1: Base Edit

October, 2003

The idea was just to use one of my larger bases. (There were much fewer of them at the time.)
